February is I Love to Read Month!!!
This weeks dress-up day:
February 24 – Dress as a Storybook Character
Forest of Reading:
Gr. 2-3--Silver Birch Express- Ms. Meilleur on Tuesdays at lunch recess
Intramurals: Tuesdays – Grade 3, Thursdays – Grade 2
ELA--Home Reading Logs are due each Monday. Spelling Tests are on Friday. The students have been working on various short lessons on classifying, organizing, directions nouns and capitalization. They will continue to work on capitalization, good sentences using 5 words, and adjectives.
Math--Grade 2--Addition and Subtraction to 100
Math--Grade 3--Adding and subtracting with relational facts.
French--We continue to practice the days of the week, numbers 1-30 the months of the year and seasons.
Social Studies--We are discussing basic human rights and the rights of others.
